After 20 plus years as a full-time fashion editor and freelance costumer/stylist for theater, film and television in NYC, I couldn’t resist the urge to share my “soft spot” for vintage lingerie. Vintage lingerie is my passion and I'm incredibly excited to offer VanitiesFair's thoughtfully edited collection to like minded aficionados.

VanitiesFair was born of a passion for the exquisite fabrics, attention to detail and skilled craftsmanship lavished upon the lingerie of bygone eras and began as a temporary selling venue for the extensive collection I'd amassed over the years, blossoming into a full time love affair. In addition to operating VanitiesFair as a solo project, I also collaborate with one of the premiere vintage lingerie dealers in NYC.

Our goal is to supply the highest quality items in the best condition possible from the turn of the century through the 1950s and fill that niche for the discriminating collector and designer who admires, values and appreciates these extraordinary items.  
 We diligently scour the market for exceptional items in pristine, wearable condition and those pieces in need of a little TLC are lovingly restored to their former glory using the same techniques employed by the original technicians.
Buying vintage on line can be a daunting task (Believe me, we’ve been burned more than once!) and VanitiesFair takes great pride in making your shopping experience as stress free and enjoyable as possible by offering only those items we feel are worthy of our customer’s impeccable taste and high quality standards.
My hope is that our expertise in sourcing and selling, wealth of knowledge in the worlds of fashion and costuming, access to the unlimited resources available in the New York metropolitan area and an in-depth understanding of garment construction and restoration will inspire our customers to shop with confidence.
